Shri Justice M. Jagannadha Rao has taken over as Chairman of the Law Commission of India. His appointment is effective from January 3, 2002
Shri Justice Rao succeeds Shri Justice B.P Jeevan Reddy following his resignation with effect from December 31, 2001.
