    Reports appearing in a section of Media on rearward movement of troops and Headquarters Southern Command are not correct.

    There has been no rearward movement of troops. In carrying out his administration functions, the Army Commander of Southern Command has to move between the operational and the permanent locations of HQ Southern Command. The Operational Headquarters of Southern Command continues to function from its operational location.
