‘43’ RS. 278.10 LAKH RELEASED TO KARNATAKA FOR WASTELANDS DEVELOPMENT AND RURAL SANITATION The Ministry of Rural Development has released Rs. 247.01 as second instalment to four districts of Karnataka under the Integrated Wastelands Development Programme (IWDP), for the year 2001-02. The districts are, Mandya Rs. 57.75 lakh, Haveri Rs. 57.75 lakh, Mysore Rs. 65.67 lakh, Chitradurga Rs. 65.84 lakh.The Ministry has also released a second instalment of Rs. 31.09 lakh to the State under the Central Rural Sanitation Programme (CRSP). With this, the entire allocation of Rs. 62.19 lakh to the State under this scheme stands released.
