PM CONDOLES DEATH OF SHRI JAG PRAVESH CHANDRA

    The Prime Minister, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee has condoled the death of Shri Jag Pravesh Chandra, a veteran Congress leader and former Chief Executive Councillor of Delhi, here today. In his condolence message, Shri Vajpayee said that Shri Chandra displayed an unparalleled sensitivity towards the concerns of the common man and always had his hand on the pulse of the people. In the death of the octogenarian leader, the nation has lost an articulate politician, an able administrator and a man of letters, the Prime Minister added. Shri Chandra will be remembered for his commitment and dedication towards social causes, Shri Vajpayee said.
