    The production of Aluminium Cast Metal by National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) during the month of January 2002 was 20587 MT against the target of 19500 MT. The cumulative production upto January 2002 was 194383 MT against the target of 192600 MT. The bauxite production during the month of January was 360018 MT whereas the target was 310000 MT. The cumulative production of bauxite upto January 2002 was 2,690,268 MT against the target of 2,800,000 MT. The production of calcined alumina during the month was 90,630 MT against the target of 96000 MT. The cumulative production was 879, 130 MT whereas the target was 876,000 MT. The net generation of power from captive power plant during the month was 378.98 MU against the target of 348 MU.
