‘43’RS.360.22 LAKH RELEASED TO ANDHRA PRADESH, TAMIL NADU, KARNATKA AND ORISSA FOR WASTELANDS DEVELOPMENT
The Ministry of Rural Development has released Rs.203.21 lakh to two districts of Andhra Pradesh under Integrated Wastelands Development Scheme with Employment Assurance Scheme Component. The two districts are Anantpur – Rs.142.46 lakh and Rangareddy – 60.75 lakh.
The Ministry has also released Rs.110.17 lakh to two districts of Tamil Nadu under Integrated Wastelands Development Scheme (IWDP). The two districts are – Karur – Rs.90.49 lakh and Dindigul – Rs.19.68 lakh.
Karnataka gets Rs.46.30 lakh under the same Scheme for Gulbarga district.
The Ministry has also released Rs.41.35 lakh to Keonjhar district of Orissa under IWDP.
