RS.504.30 LAKH RELEASED TO MADHYA PRADESH AND CHHATISGARH FOR WASTELANDS DEVELOPMENT

RS.84.33 LAKH RELEASED FOR COMPUTERISATION OF LAND RECORDS IN MADHYA PRADESH

        The Ministry of Rural Development has released a total amount of Rs.381.69 lakh to four districts of Madhya Pradesh for implementation of Centrally Sponsored Scheme Integrated Wastelands Development Project, with Employment Assurance Scheme – Watershed Component, during the year 2000-2001. The four districts are – Raisen – Rs.111.81 lakh, Shahdol – Rs.100.000 lakh, Sidhi – Rs.59.55 lakh and Vidisha – Rs.110.33 lakh.

        The Ministry has also released Rs.122.61 lakh to four districts of Chhatisgarh under Integrated Wastelands Development Project (Employment Assurance Scheme – Watershed Component) during the year 2000-2001. The four districts are – Raigarh – Rs 56.30 lakh, Dhamtari –Rs.17.37 lakh, Kawardha – Rs.33.60 lakh, and Mahasumund – Rs.15.34 lakh.

        The Department of Land Resources (DoLRs) of the Ministry of Rural Development has released Rs.74.33 lakh to four districts of Madhya Pradesh under Centrally sponsored scheme - Computerisation of Land Records. The four districts are – Hoshangabad - Rs.32.29 lakhs, Mandla and Dindori – Rs.29.98 lakh and Jabalpur – Rs.12.06 lakh.
