Defence Undertaking M/s Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is
not looking for partners abroad. However, the company has entered
into dialogue with M/s Snecma of France to consider the feasibility
of setting up a joint venture company at Bangalore for taking
up manufacture of engine parts and assemblies for the Indian and
world markets.
This information
was given by the Defence Minister Shri George Fernandes in a written
reply to Shri Tufani Saroj in Lok Sabha today.
