The Bench of the
Patna High Court presided over by the Chief Justice and Shri Justice
R.N. Prasad vide order of August 8, 2002 passed in L.P.A. No.
859 of 2002, has directed the Registrar General of the Court to
hold an enquiry in the cases of forgery. The Bench has further
been pleased vide order of October 22, 2002 to file complaint
before the Chief Judicial Magistrate against the concerned persons
under Chapter XI of Indian Penal Code. Besides, four members of
the Court Staff have been placed under suspension.
It is hoped that
timely action, as taken in this case, will deter recurrence of
such cases in future.

Krishnamurthi in a written reply to a question from S/Shri Vinay
Kumar Sorake and Iqbal Ahmed Saradgi in the Lok Sabha today.
