LOK SABHA
The Government has
consulted the Supreme Court of India. The Court has informed regarding
suggestions to root out corruption in judiciary as below:
"The Statement
of the Hon’ble Chief Justice of India is based on his perceptions
which he has gathered from various sources or the publications
at times in the newspapers. The Hon’ble Chief Justice of India
has been trying to get even the minimum materials from the concerned
Chief Justices of the High Courts in support of the allegations.
This information
was given by the Union Minister of Law and Justice, Shri K. Jana
Krishnamurthi in a written reply to a question from Shri V. Vetriselvan
in the Lok Sabha today.
