RITES BAGS NEW CONTRACT IN TANZANIA

RITES Ltd, a Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, has bagged yet another challenging and time bound contract for rehabilitation of wagons from Tanzanian Railways. Under the contract worth US $ 1.77 million, hundred wagons of various types will be rehabilitated over a period of six months. Payment will be made to RITES every month over a period of ten months out of the revenue to be earned by the rehabilitated wagons.

The present contract is in addition to the earlier one for rehabilitation of hundred wagons of the Tanzanian Railways which RITES completed successfully well within the stipulated time.
