PRESIDENT'S GREETINGS ON THE OCCASION OF JANMASHTAMI

The President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, has congratulated the fellow countrymen on the occasion of Janmashtami which falls tomorrow.

In a Message, the President said: "Lord Krishna in his message in the "Bhagwat Gita" taught us of Nishkama Karma, duty without the thought of reward. Let us rededicate ourselves to this philosophy on this day, so that every citizen can contribute his full energy to the task of national development."
