NEW APPOINTMENTS
The Appointments Committee of the
Cabinet has approved the following appointments: -
- Shri Wajahat Habibullah, IAS(JK:68), Director,
Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration to be
upgraded in the rank and pay of Secretary.
- Shri L.M.Mehta, IAS(HY:68), presently Adviser,
Planing Commission, as Secretary, Ministry of Youth Affairs
and Sports vice Shri S.S.Sharma, IAS (MT:66), superannuating
on 31.8.2002.
- Shri Dhirendra Singh, IAS(KN:68), Additional Secretary,
Department of Defence Production and Supplies, as Special Secretary
(Procurement), Ministry of Defence, on or after 1.9.2002.
- Shri S.K.Mishra, IAS(CG:68), presently in the
cadre, as Special Secretary and Mission Director, Technology
Mission on Oilseeds and Pulses, Department of Agriculture and
Cooperation, vice Shri Hemendra Kumar, IAS(UP:67), superannuating
on 31.8.202.
- Shri J.Vasudevan, IAS(KN:68), Chairman and Managing
Director, India Trade Promotion Organisation, to be upgraded
in the rank and pay of Secretary from 1.9.2002.
