Shri Prabir Sengupta, IAS (AM:65) (Retired) has been appointed as Director General, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade in the rank and pay of Secretary on re-employment on contract basis for a period of one year or till a Director General/Vice Chancellor is appointed as per the Institute’s amended rules, whichever is earlier. The terms and conditions of the contract will be finalised by the Department of Commerce in consultation with the Department of Personnel and Training.
