PM CELEBRATES RAKSHA BANDHAN
The Prime Minister,
Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee celebrated Raksha Bandhan with fun and
gaiety with school children and people from all walks of life
at his residence, here today. Children from various schools from
in and around Delhi, physically handicapped and mentally backward
children and girls from a blind school were among those who tied
a rakhi to the Prime Minister.
On a special request
from the mediapersons who had gathered to cover the occasion,
Shri Vajpayee recited a poem in Hindi titled – "Aao phir se diya
jalaayen". Following is the version of the original Hindi poem,
as recited by the Prime Minister:
