The Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Smt. Sushma Swaraj has condoled the death of veteran music director, Shri Satyadev Pawar, who passed away last night. In a message, Smt. Swaraj said that Shri pawar not only enriched the music programmes of All India Radio as conductor of the Akashwani Orchestra, but also performed as accompanist with music legends like Pandit Ravi Shankar, Ustad Ali Akbar Khan and George Harrison. His creations would remain a source of inspiration for young musicians, Smt. Swaraj said.
