BELARUS EXTENDS FULL SUPPORT TO INDIA IN FIGHT AGAINST TERRORISM
Belarus
has expressed full support to India in its fight against cross-border
terrorism as also international terrorism. This was conveyed by
the visiting Foreign Affairs Minister of Belarus Mr. Mikhail Khvostov
at a meeting he had here today with the Minister for Human Resource
Development and Science and Technology Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi.
The two
leaders discussed ways and means of strengthening bilateral relations
in various fields including education and science and technology.
Dr. Joshi assured the Belarus minister that there is enough scope
for strengthening collaboration between the two sides not only
in science and technology but in various other fields including
trade and economic relations. The possibilities of setting up
of a joint commission for enhancing the levels of cooperation
was also considered. Dr. Joshi added that India values her friendship
with the CIS countries including Belarus. The two nations already
have cooperation in biotechnology.
