SANCTION FOR COCHIN SHIPYARD REPAIRING PROJECT

Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), Kochi has submitted a proposal for expansion of ship-repair facilities at an estimated cost of Rs. 98.38 crore. The Departmental Expenditure Finance Committee in its meeting held on 14.3.2002 has approved the proposal and action has been initiated to obtain the approval of the competent authority. This information was given in Rajya Sabha Sabha today by the Minister of State for Shipping Shri Shripad Y. Naik in a written reply to a question by Shri N.K. Premchandran.
