Encroachment on Indian Territory
No construction of roads by neighbouring countries has taken place in territory under possession of India.
Government closely watches all military related activities of neighbouring countries having bearing on our national security and reviews the threat perception from time to time. Necessary steps are taken to maintain appropriate defence preparedness through accretion and modernization and deployment of forces to safeguard the sovereignty, territorial integrity and security of Inida.
This information was given by Defence Minister Shri AK Antony in a written reply to Shri Ravindra Kumar Pandey and others in Lok Sabha today.
