Finance Minister in the Budget 2014-15 announced for setting up of Textile mega
clusters at Bareily, Lucknow, Surat, Kuttch, Bhagalpur, Mysore and one in Tamil
Nadu with a budget outlay of Rs.200 crore. This includes two mega handloom
clusters at Bhagalpur (Bihar) & Trichy (Tamil Nadu). State-wise textile mega
clusters with their duration and activities are as follows:-
