FINAL RESULT OF COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES EXAMINATION - II, 2002 DECLARED


The Union Public Service Commission have declared the results of the Combined Defence Services Examination , here today. The successful candidates have qualified on the basis of the results of the Combined Defence Services Examination-II, 2002 held by UPSC and the Interview held by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence. The candidates will be admitted to the 115th course of the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Naval Academy, Goa and Air Force Station, Begumpet, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course, i.e., No. 174th F(P) Course.

The number of vacancies, as intimated by the Government is 250 for Indian Military Academy(including 32 vacancies reserved for NCC ‘C’ Certificate (Army Wing) holders, 20 vacancies for Naval Academy including 6 vacancies reserved for NCC ‘C" certificates holders (Naval Wing) and 37 for Air force Academy. The result of the medical examination have not been taken into account in preparing these lists.

Verification of date of birth and educational qualifications of these candidates is still under process by the Army Headquarters. The candidature of all the candidates is, therefore, provisional on this score. Candidates are requested to forward their original age/educational certificates, alongwith photostat attested copies thereof to Army/Naval/Air Headquarters, as per their first choice.

UPSC have a Facilitation Centre near ‘C’ gate of its campus. Candidates may obtain any information/clarification regarding their examination/recruitments on working days between 10.00 a.m. to 5 p.m. in person or over telephone No. 011-23385271/011- 23381125 from this Centre.
