RS. 18.79 CRORE
RELEASED TO RAJASTHAN UNDER SAMPOORNA
GRAMIN ROJGAR YOJANA
The Ministry of Rural
Development has released Rs. 1879.38 lakh and 21.29 thousand tonnes
of wheat as the 2nd installment to 21 districts of
Rajasthan under Sampoorna Gramin Rozgar Yojana (SGRY) for the
financial year 2002-03.
The expenditure on
implementation of the programme with regard to cash component
is to be shared on 75:25 basis between the Central and the State
government. The DRDAs or Zilla Parishads will release the entire
funds allocated to them directly to the Village Panchayats within
fifteen days of receipt of funds.
The State government
is to release its share with in a fortnight of the date of release
of the Central assistance.
