FAMILY COURTS
The Union Government have been periodically requesting the States and the Union Territories to set p more Family Courts. Recently in the Conference of Law and Home Secretaries of all the State Governments and Union Territory Administrations held on October 30, 2001 in the Department of Justice, all the States and Union Territories were requested to set up more Family Courts.
This information was given by the Union Minister of Law, Justice and Company Affairs, Shri Arun Jaitley in a written reply to a question from Shri Ashok N. Mohol in the Lok Sabha today.
