        The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri M. K. Singh, IPS (WB: 67), presently Additional DG, BSF as Director General, Narcotics Control Bureau in the pay scale of Rs. 24050-26000/- vice Shri Gopal Achari, IPS (JHK: 66), superannuating on 30.11.2001.
