ENCOURAGE OTHER INDIAN LANGUAGES ALSO WHILE PROMOTING HINDI, SAYS SHARAD YADAV
The Labour Minister Shri Sharad Yadav has urged the people of the Hindi speaking states to learn at least one language of the non-Hindi speaking states. He was speaking at the Hindi Award Distribution function of the Labour Ministry here today. Shri Yadav said that our effort should be to encourage other Indian languages also while promoting the use of Hindi. Shri Yadav said that the creativity of a person is best reflected through his mother tongue. He said that India has a rich heritage of languages and dialects which together give the country an unparalleled stock of words. Felicitating the awardees, Shri Yadav hoped that their effort would inspire others to do official work in Hindi. The Minister gave away certificates and cash awards to 39 employees who had won prizes in 13 competitions organised during the observance of Hindi month recently.
