MISAPPROPRIATION OF MONEY BY COMPANIES
One hundred seventy six registered companies have changed their declared addresses after selling their shares or offer depositing the capital for earning interest thereby endangering the investors of their money. An amount of Rs. 958.90 crores has been allegedly collected through public issue by these companies.
This information was given by the Union Minister of Law, Justice and Company Affairs, Shri Arun Jaitley in a written reply to a question from Shrimati Sangeeta Kumari Singh Deo in the Lok Sabha today.
