    The Minister for Rural Development, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Shri M.V. Chandra Sekhra Murthy.

    In a condolence message, Shri Naidu described him as a veteran Parliamentarian, eminent politician, vibrant leader and an able administrator. Shri Murthy occupied many important national positions and served the country with distinction. His contribution to the public life and nation will always be remembered, he said.

    Shri Naidu said, " I send my heart felt condolences to the bereaved family and pray that they receive the strength to withstand this tragedy".
