‘18’BRL PRODUCTION UP IN OCTOBER
Bharat Refractories Limited (BRL), Bokaro, a public sector undertaking of the Steel Ministry produced 2290 tonnes of refractories worth Rs. 337.50 lakh in October, 2001 as against 1966 tonnes worth Rs. 265.8 lakh during the same month last year. The production of the company during April-October, 2001 was 16,300 tonnes worth Rs. 24.54 crore as against 22,853 tonnes worth Rs. 34.97 crore during the same period of the previous year.
The company manufactures and supplies various kinds of refractories not only for integrated Steel Plants, but for other mini and medium Steel Plants. It has two plants at Ramagarh, one at Bhandaridah and one at Bhilai.
