WASTELANDS DEVELOPMENT PROJECT FOR ANDHRA PRADESH

    The Ministry of Rural Development has released an amount of Rs.890.21 lakh to the State Government of Andhra Pradesh for Wastelands Development Projects. Out of this amount Rs. lakh has been released under Integrated Rural Development Programme (IWDP) to Andhra Pradesh. The main objectives of the scheme are development of wastelands based on village/micro watershed plans, promoting overall economic development and improving socio-economic conditions of the resource poor and disadvantage sections inhabiting the programme areas.
