UN MILITARY OBSERVERS AND STAFF OFFICERS CAPSULE HELD
A fourteen days UN Military Observers and Staff Officers Capsule concluded here today. The capsule was attended by 33 officers including eight foreign officers from USA, Bangladesh, Bosnia, Kenya, Mozambique, Nepal, Tanzania and Ukraine.
Delivering the closing address, Lt Gen RS Kadyan, Officiating Deputy Chief of Army Staff (Training & Coordination) and Director General Rashtriya Rifles said that, the UN Peace Keepers have a very important role in bringing peace in the areas where they are deployed. They can only achieve their task when they earn the faith and honour with their integrity and impartiality. He said that the aim of the capsule was to acquaint the officers with the principles of Peace Keeping, which has been achieved, as is evident from the feedback received from the participants.
