'23' FIVE SPECIAL TRAINS FROM DELHI & MUMBAI FOR CHHATH PUJAThe Indian Railways will be running five special trains from Delhi and Mumbai on 17th and 18th of this month to cater to the rush of Chhath Puja which is a major festival of Bihar and Eastern UP and is being celebrated this year on 20th-21st November.
Two of these trains will leave New Delhi on 17th November. These are: 432D/431D New Delhi-Bhagalpur Express (via Mughalsarai) and 480/479 New Delhi-Katihar Express (via Kanpur-Gorakhpur-Narkatiaganj). The first train will leave New Delhi at 2250 hours while the scheduled departure for New Delhi-Katihar Express is at 2050 hours on the same day. On their return journey these trains will leave Bhagalpur at 0700 hours and Katihar at 0615 hours respectively on 23rd November,2001.
On 18th November there will be another special train (482D/481D) from New Delhi to Hatia via Mughalsarai-Gaya-Gomoh at 1300 hrs. On its return journey it will leave Hatia on 22nd November at 2100 hours. All the three trains will comprise of 16 coaches and will have Three Tier Sleeper and Second Class general coaches.
Two special trains have been planned from Mumbai. The 155-156 Kurla-Bhagalpur Express (via Patna-Kiul) will leave Kurla at 0100 hrs on 18th November, 2001. On return journey, it will leave Bhagalpur at 1050 hrs. on 23rd November,2001. The other train is 137/138 Kurla-Darbhanga Express via Patna-Barauni. It will leave Kurla at 0100 hours on 17th November, 2001 and on its return journey, it will depart from Darbhanga at 1035 hours on 22nd November,2001. Both these trains will comprise of 17 coaches and will have Three Tier Sleeper and Second Class general accommodation.
