SENIOR LEVEL APPOINTMENTS

        Shri C.M. Vasudev, IAS (UP-66) has been appointed as the Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs. He
replaces Finance Secretary, Shri Ajit Kumar, IAS (PB-64) who has been posted as Secretary, Planning Commission vice
Shri N.C. Saxena, presently on leave. Shri C.S. Rao, IAS (AP-67) presently Director General, NIRD, Hyderabad has
been appointed as Secretary, Department of Expenditure in place of Shri C.M.Vasudev.

        The appointments have been approved by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet.
