POLICY INITIATIVES AND PROBLEMS IN THE SECTOR TO BE DISCUSSED

Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers, Shri Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa will chair a meeting with Representatives of Petrochemicals, Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Industry on Monday. As far as the pharmaceutical sector is concerned, the issues of importance are formation of separate export promotion council for pharmaceuticals "PHARMEXCIL", stability in Government policies pertaining to exports and simplification of procedures relating to customs and excise.
