SAIL CMO READY RECKONER
Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL)’s Chief Marketing Office (CMO), Kolkata has brought out an informative handbook titled ‘Know your organisation’, which is a compendium of information on the company’s activities in general and CMO in particular. SAIL’s history, marketing trends and strategies, competitors’ presence, emerging business scenario, product and applications, personnel policies and glossary of marketing and financial terms constitute its contents. It contains relevant inputs on the Indian Steel Industry. The pages are interspersed with some useful and interesting snippets on different facets of business management.
It contains a quiz section, featuring 100 questions solely based on the inputs given in the book. The 1st prize is for Rs. 2,000, the 2nd prize Rs. 1,000 And the 3rd prize Rs. 500. The book has been jointly brought out by the organisational Development-Human Resource Development and Human Resource Planning group of CMO.
