    The Union Public Service Commission have declared the final result of the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy (II) held in September, 2000. The successful candidates have qualified for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force Wings of NDA for the 106^th Course and Naval Academy 10+2 (Executive Branch) for the 26^th Course commencing from July, 2001.

    There are some common candidates in the lists for Army, Navy, Air Force and Naval Academy. The total number of such candidates in the three lists is 153. The number of vacancies as intimated by the Government is 184 for Army, 43 for the Navy, 73 for the Air Force and 35 for the Naval Academy.

    The candidature of all the candidates is provisional, subject to their submitting the requisite certificates in support of date of birth and educational qualifications etc.

    Last date for submission of proof of passing the qualifying examination is 20^th June, 2001.
