SALEM STAINLESS STEEL PRODUCTS FOR TIRUPATI

SALEM steel plant of the Steel Authority of India Ltd. has been undertaking many value added conversion activities to catalyse new stainless steel applications. It also ensures quality products without an anxiety on compromises on chemistry or process of manufacture. The plant recently has fabricated and supplied stainless steel handrailings covering a length of nearly 300 meters all along the bathing platform of Srivari Pushkarini of the famous Tirupati temple.

The handrailings were fabricated, supplied and installed by the plant using appropriate grade of stainless steel to maintain the corrosion resistant properties and hold back thousands of devotees who take holy dip everyday before entering to the temple and the Sanctum Sanctorum. The railings have got aesthetic appeal with zero maintenance. The fabrication work was carried out by M/s Velar Engineering Works, Bangalore.
