Objective:

To provide deposit free 5 crore cooking gas (LPG) connections to women from below-poverty-line (BPL) households over 3 years from 2016-17 to 2018-2019

Achievements:

• 2,07 crore LPG connection provided to BPL Households (As on 5th April)
• Scheme spread all over the country, now in 694 districts
• Target is to provide five core LPG connections in three years during 2016-19).
• Rs.8000 crores earmarked
